Accessibility statement

Castomo prosta spółka akcyjna undertakes to ensure the accessibility of dostepnosc2025.pl in accordance with the act of 26 April 2024 on ensuring that certain products and services meet accessibility requirements by economic operators. This statement is at the same time the information referred to in art. 32(2)(1) of that act, and a template you can adapt for your own site.

Conformity status

The site is designed to WCAG 2.2 level AA in full, and to level AAA as regards: text contrast of at least 7:1 in the light and dark themes and 17:1 in the high‑contrast theme (1.4.6), a visible focus indicator 3 px thick (2.4.13), no time limits (2.2.3), no interruptions (2.2.4), information about location in the site (2.4.8), section headings (2.4.10), a 44×44 px target size for controls (2.5.5). Conformity is verified automatically on every publication (our own validator checks language, titles, headings, alternatives, labels, link and button names, duplicate ids and internal links) and by the checker available on this site.

How to use the site

  • Read aloud. The "Read aloud" button in the header reads the page's content from where you have scrolled to, highlighting the passage being read. It uses the browser's speech synthesiser (Web Speech API) — without sending the content to external servers. The same button stops reading.
  • Three themes. Light, dark and high contrast (black, white, yellow). Without a choice the site follows the system setting (prefers-color-scheme, prefers-contrast). The choice is remembered in the browser.
  • Keyboard. A "Skip to content" link as the first element; the menu, theme and language pickers operated with Tab, Enter, Space and Esc; every element has visible focus.
  • Zoom. The site works at 400 % zoom and from 320 px width without horizontal scrolling; tables scroll in their own container.
  • Motion. The only animation (the check progress spinner, the score dial filling) is switched off under prefers-reduced-motion.
  • Typeface. Inter Tight — a screen face whose l, I and 1 are drawn clearly apart; base size 18 px, line length up to 72 characters.
  • Languages. Polish, English, Ukrainian, German; a lang attribute on every page and on passages in another language.
  • No analytics cookies. Scripts only from this site and castomo's own servers. Visits are counted by our own analytics, which stores nothing on your device. Settings stored locally in the browser.

Known limitations

  • Read‑aloud depends on the voices installed in the system; the quality of synthesis varies between browsers, and in some browsers a Ukrainian voice may be unavailable (then the text is read with the default voice).
  • Screenshots in the checker's reports are images of other people's pages; their text alternative describes what they are (the desktop/mobile view of a given page), not their content — the content is described in the findings.
  • Quotations from the act keep its original punctuation and abbreviations, which a synthesiser may read unintelligibly.

Conformity assessment

Last conformity assessment of the service (art. 32(1)): 5 September 2026, by: the internal validator, the checker in a real browser (WebKit), a keyboard test, a screen‑reader test with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. The assessment is repeated on every significant change to the site.

Reports and complaints

Under art. 37(1)(3) of the act we designate an electronic channel for complaints: hello@castomo.com. A complaint may also be lodged in writing to: Castomo prosta spółka akcyjna, ul. Powstańców Śląskich 5/212, 53‑332 Wrocław, Poland. A complaint should contain a name, a way of contact, the page or function concerned, and the requirement the complainant believes we do not meet (art. 36). We reply within 30 days of receipt (art. 37(2)), and if the complaint is upheld we set a fix deadline of no more than 6 months (art. 37(5)). If the reply is not satisfactory, anyone may notify the President of the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON) (art. 67); the market surveillance authority for e‑commerce services is the minister responsible for digital affairs (art. 38(3)(2)).

Physical accessibility

The service is provided only electronically. The company's registered address is not a place of customer service; meetings take place remotely or at a place agreed with the client.
